Poster for an astronaut

This is designed as a poster for a Japanese astronaut who embarks on a NASA space shuttle. It was chosen at the competition sponsored by JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency). With careful consideration of the last shuttle accident, we decided on “Return to Flight” as its message. We chose a photo of a shuttle flying away as the key picture, and arranged small letters in the corners so as to draw attention to the words. We intentionally made quiet design to reflect the solemn situation.
