Matsui Design Studio aims to provide design that can weave its way into and function within our society, based around our key themes of life, beauty and technology. Our mission is to search out the kind of design that can slot into people’s everyday lives, as they exist within a society that has already undergone industrial and informational transformations and now heading in a more existential direction.
It is our aim to establish a system in today's society that explores the nature of designs as they become increasingly robust through a process of generation and selection—designs that, once made into products, can function and undergo fragmentation of their own accord.
