Nail art reveals national traits concerning affluence. Nails are reminiscent of one’s work. I designed a set of nails, the motif of which was a pattern used for Arabic wedding ceremony at a temple. The nails have detailed patterns made in microns by laser beam, which pass light through. I hope people feel the fact of existing at this point in time, wearing new nails, which are made through culture and technology, as well as history and fashion at the edge. The work was auctioned at a charity event.
